Up in Mirrorland
Hip hop duo EarthGang are masters at conjuring up reality-bending music video ideas, and we were thrilled to help bring their fantastical ideas to life in the video for their song “Up”.
Set in a museum in an alternate reality, we created living oil paintings through the use of machine learning, CGI tentacles, creatures, and alien brains among other environmental modifications and visual effects.
Machine Learning
A Style Transfer is a machine learning technique which takes a source image and a style reference image (such as a famous painting) then runs learning models on them such that the source image is styled to look like the style reference image.
By using Style Transfers we can treat footage of Earth Gang and extras as if they were painted in the style of the actual paintings.
